(Senior) Data Scientist

As a database administrator, you will become part of our leading group of network and operations engineers. We're looking for hands-on SQL Server database administrators to help build and oversee our datatech systems.
Skills We Are Looking For
- SQL Administration:
Proficient in managing relational database systems, particularly Microsoft SQL Server
- Task Automation:
Skilled in configuration management using automation languages like PowerShell and Python
- Oracle Support:
Expertise in supporting Oracle environments, including backups, performance monitoring, and tuning
- Database Security:
Implementing robust security protocols and ensuring compliance in both SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Proactively monitoring databases and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance
- Disaster Recovery:
Conducting regular risk assessments and designing proactive availability and recovery strategies
Our Ideal Candidate
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Work Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration (SQL Server and/or Oracle)
- Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
